The Alexandria Center for Hellenistic Studies aims to offer a comprehensive view on Hellenistic studies, combining a series of research disciplines in order to contribute to the formation of a new multidimensional perspective and consequently to better understanding of the Hellenistic past.
In this respect the Center offers Diploma, MA and PhD degrees in Hellenistic Studies, related to the fields of Philosophy, Philology, History and Archaeology.Their main objective is the overall understanding and reconstructing the Hellenistic World. The academic staff of the Center is international, composed by Egypt’s most distinctive academics along with a series of world known international scholars.
Additionally, one of the Center’s major priorities is to organize a series of academic activities such as workshops, conferences and fieldtrips, which help students to further enrich their experience and to keep them updated to the current research developments.
