The BA Alexandria Center for Hellenistic Studies (ACHS), in collaboration with the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), and the Archaeological Society of Alexandria (ASA), organizes an international workshop entitled:

“Funerary Art in the Eastern Mediterranean (4th c. – 1st c. BCE): Old Connections and New Beginnings, The Necropolis as Memoryscape”

16–18 September 2024, Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Center, Delegates Hall.

The Alexandria Center for Hellenistic Studies (ACHS) announces the beginning of registration for the Specialized Diploma, Master’s and PhD programs in Hellenistic Studies from Alexandria University, from 1 to 31 August 2024.

The Specialized Diploma, Master’s and PhD programs are the result of a collaboration between ACHS, the Vardinoyannis Foundation, and Alexandria University.

The courses are taught in English.

The ACHS, in cooperation with the Vardinoyannis Foundation, provides a grant of 75% of the tuition fees to applicants (terms apply).

The exhibition starts with an opening lecture by Prof. Emad Khalil, UNESCO Chair of Underwater Cultural Heritage, and Mr. Holger Buss, 3D Modeling Specialist. The lecture will take place at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Main Entrance, Auditorium Hall.
