2004-present: consultant for the International Freedom of Expression Exchange (IFEX) for the MENA region.
2002-present: Contributor to the Beirut-based The Daily Star.
2002-2004 Correspondent for the Dakar-based Pan African News Agency (PANA) in Egypt and consultant for the Copenhagen-based International Media Support (IMS).
2000-2001: Amnesty International Human Rights Education Coordinator for the MENA region based in Beirut, Lebanon.
1998: Amnesty International Development Field worker in Gaza and the West Bank.
1997-present:: Contributor to US and Arab papers , including The Christian Science Monitor, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Herald Tribune, Annahar and Al-Masry El-Youm.
