The IPS 2010 , Poster Session offers the conference’s participants a great opportunity to present their work in a professional atmosphere of discussion and interaction. Call for submission of posters abstracts for the organization committee to select for presentation that will be attended by the IPS participants.
Guidelines for the Poster Session
- Posters will not be accepted without an abstract.
- Poster abstracts must be sent via email to Dr. Omar Fikry by 15 April 2010.
- The Conference Paper chairperson will send notification letters by 15 May 2010.
- Dimensions of each poster should not exceed 120 cm (width) x 150 cm (height) mounted horizontally or Vertically.
- Posters will be arranged in alphabetical order by topic.
- The first author of the poster abstract is responsible for the proper assembly, mounting, and presentation of his/her poster.
- Please bring sufficient copies of handouts to the conference. We expect around 400 delegates at IPS 2010. Photocopiers will be available at the Library; however, for coordination of use, please contact Dr. Omar Fikry
- The poster board surface consists of wood. Push-pins/staple pins can be used to mount the poster. Each presenter must provide push-pins for his/her display.
- At the top of each poster, you should post a label stating the title, authors, and author affiliations. Logos and advertising material must NOT be used.
- The languages at the Poster Session will be English, French or Arabic.
- Illustrations and text must be readable from a distance of at least one-and-a-half meters away. The poster should be clear with no explanation required.
- All lines should be heavily drawn.
- In the planning of your poster presentation, remember that the poster will be available for viewing and discussion for several hours.
- You should provide summary (A4 paper size) of your poster, as well as your business card, to distribute to viewers.
- Based on the available area for the posters session, the maximum number of the accepted poster will be 26.
