In 2008, Belarus implemented their first comprehensive National AIDS Spending Assessment of public, international and private HIV-related expenditures. Using the most recently available data, this paper describes HIV spending patterns in Belarus and their implications for future policy decisions.

This paper reports the findings of a study that examined the factors influencing low enrolment in Tanzania's health prepayment schemes (Community Health Fund). The paper argues that district managers had a direct influence over the factors explaining low enrolment and identified in other studies.
