The African Union Commission has selected Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Library of Alexandria, as member of the high level panel for the review of Africa’s Science and Technology Consolidated Plan of Action.
Established in 2002 and consisting of 54 states, the African Union aims to the achievement of greater unity and solidarity between the African countries and the promotion of peace, security, and stability on the continent.
