The RED ALAD, established in 1996, is a discussion group for health care professionals working in the area of diabetes that want to communicate in Spanish or Portuguese. Information on how to subscribe to it can be found in the ALAD (Association Latino Americana de Diabetes) homepage, which was also started in 1996 in an effort to increase communication between all members if the association and people interested in it.
