Disease Clusters are classic epidemics. They represent increases in mortality or morbidity usually from a particular disease in time and/or space. This implies that a knowledge, or at least an impression, of the underlying baseline rate of the particular cause of mortality or morbidity is necessary to detect a cluster. |
