The pervasiveness of the Internet is now spilling over to Asia where some of the world’s largest populations are concentrated. A study reported in the Feb 1999 Asian edition of Businessweek reported that by the end of 1999, there will be some 10 million Internet users in the 11 Asian countries surveyed. This number is expected to increase to 30 million by 2002.
