Based on the published literature, we predicted that: (a) males will have higher prevalence rates compared to females; (b) studies based on urban sites will have higher prevalence rates compared to studies from rural or mixed urban-rural sites; and (c) migrant groups will have higher prevalence rates compared to native born.
