The quality of water is
important too. Among the population using “soft” water the mortality from CVD is
higher that in regions with “hard” water. Though the main reason of water hardness are
Ca and Mg, there is also the interactions of other elements, leading to “hard” water. But
in the question of CVD Mg is the most important factor, though it is often “losing
factor” . The West diet recommends 10-15 mmol of Mg daily and as we need about 15 mmol
daily, some part of it is taken from water. It can be one of the reasons of correlation
between the content of Mg in soil and CVD. |
