A well formulated question is key to making the process of searching for
evidence efficient and valuable. An answerable question has four elements: the patient
or problem; the intervention (test, treatment, care process); the comparison
or alternative; the outcome or result of interest. You can place these
elements in a table with four columns as shown on the slide.
