Diagnosis: Clinical symptoms. Serological confirmation is by AGDT for antibody (in UK at regional VI centres) or ELISA (in Holland). Control (UK): The Ministry control scheme. Seropositive reactors and their progeny must leave the farm. After 2 clear tests, the flock becomes accredited and is retested every 1-2 years. |
