Recall bias occurs when individuals remember differently previous events. Prevarication bias results from selective revealing or suppression of information. Reporting bias occurs when the data source in one study group differs from the other study group. Loss of follow-up (withdrawal) bias is expected to occur in prospective studies with long follow-up periods. Missing data bias is expected to occur when incomplete records are chosen as source of information.
