The structure and
content of the health care services are changing rapidly in developing countries with
acceptance of "general practice as a necessity" for government, private sector,
and among all for the community. General practice\ training in primary care is developing professionally at a similar pace in developing countries But in addition is experiencing a huge change in the management of primary care, generated by the engine of policy and organizational change in developing countries. Countries like Srilanka, Bangladesh, India, and Nepal have brought some changes in their health policies/reforms and training in family practice (at post graduate level) is gaining importance. |
