Don’t attempt to read this slide! It is a copy of the typical CYP table which lists the cyp enzymes and the medications that interact with them either as substrates, inhibitors, or inducers. The reason that this diagram is not terribly useful is that the assignment to “substrate” or “inhibitor” category is somewhat arbitrary! Some substrates bind more readily than others, causing a competitive inhibition! This can only be predicted by looking more closely at the enzyme kinetics. |
