Entamoeba
histolytica is the most important of these 4 intestinal parasites as it is common
and considerably pathogenic. When drainage facilities are poor and food is handled
carelessly it is even more challenging. Amebiasis by its stronger pathogenesis is more
important than the other 3 conditions also involving watery diarrhea.
