One study has
examined the factors associated with developing fear of falling and possible
mechanisms of why fear of falling develops.
We decided to examine who develops fear of falling and why among a population of community-living women because we felt that findings for men and women would be different based on gender differences associated with aging. We investigated what factors were associated with developing fear of falling at one year follow-up among women with no fear of falling at baseline. |
