31 December 2003 | GENEVA -- The World Health Organization (WHO) . To date, at least 26, 700 people have been buried as a result of the Bam earthquake. Approximately 30,000 are injured, and more than 12,000 of these people have been admitted to hospitals in other parts of the country.
