The original study sites included three urban centers: Los Angeles, California, New York, New York, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, as well as one mid-Western center in Columbia, Missouri. In today’s talk, when I refer to “Missouri” I mean the subjects recruited at Columbia, Missouri, or the area in which that study center is located, with a similar convention for the other centers.
