Two tornadoes touched down Wednesday night in Cheyenne County, destroying a windmill and flattening trees near the Kansas line but causing no injuries. The storm brought heavy rain and hail up to an inch in diameter. Jamestown, a mountain village about 20 miles south, reported 8.5 inches. Three homes and some outbuildings in Attica were destroyed.
