Some administrative
data collections are more useful than others. For the purposes of monitoring the
health and well-being of the Indigenous population, it is essential that there
be good quality information about the Indigenous status of every person included
in the system. In addition, the other data items must also be of sufficient
quality for the purposes for which they will be used.
