In Figure 1, Progreso girls mature earlier than Poznan girls, being taller than the Progreso boys up to 13 years. The very early spurt in Progreso boys is puzzling. It is followed by a severe setback. This is a marked lag at about 9 years. No slowdown appeared in Progreso girls. The Sabinas girls are slowing at 13 years as the boys classically speed up their growth, true for the taller Poznan boys. In Figure 2, Progreso boys and girls finish growth at about 16 closer to each other than either Sabinas or Poznan students that can have a little growth up to 20 years.
