In Mexico, we implemented a
chemoprophylaxis scheme each 3 months (group II), each 6 months (group III), and other
group (group I) as control. After one year, the group I had 37.62% of E.histolytica cysts
in samples of stools, group II 12.5%, and group I 23.53%. (Data in press). This study was made in children. |
