Not only are the number of tobacco deaths increasing but also the percentage of
all deaths caused by tobacco. As you can see, our success in fighting infectious
disease is significantly offset by the growing burden of tobacco-related
disease.
Of course, all these deaths create a huge dilemma for the Tobacco Industry – an annual erosion of their customer base. Each year, the industry has to addict another four million smokers just to stay even. go to part II
