It is beneficial to standardize the time required to fill in the data collection tool in order to check that observers (interviewers) are not spending more or less time probing for information. Also, it may be useful that the observer records a simple reliability score for every filled tool that reflects his subjective assessment to the reliability of the collected data. Subjects whose information are deemed unreliable may be excluded from the study or analyzed separately.
