Offering to make other staff available allows for the use of inside experts and minimizes the need for the observer to go outside for information other than confirmation and clarification. The daily meeting minimizes the possibility of confusion about what is going on and allows the administrator to help coordinate observer staff interactions. Staff still have other work to do and cannot expect to change their schedules to accommodate the observer’s. Coordinating the schedules relieves the staff of the awkward responsibility of explaining their competing demands. |
