The colonial
powers in Africa and elsewhere lost control through the sporadic use of terrorism. This
form of terrorism brought control of countries by the people themselves. Recently political terrorism has waned, but has been replaced by religious based terrorism such as in Northern Ireland and the Middle East. Arthur H.
