TWAS-ARO Young Affiliates 2013 - 2017 Winners

Each year, from 2007, each of the five TWAS Regional Offices select up to five excellent young scientists from their region to be appointed as TWAS Young Affiliates for a period of five years. The Young Affiliates must be living and working in a developing country and have an excellent track record of at least 10 international publications.

This year the TWAS-ARO (Arab Regional Office) young affiliates 2013 are:

  1. Fayçal Djeffal (Algeria), Professor, Department of Electronics, University of Batna.
  2. Ahmed Abdel Moneim (Egypt), Lecturer/Dr., Zoology and Entomology Department, Faculty of Science, Helwan University.
  3. Monther AbdelJabbar Khanfar (Jordan), Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry, University of Jordan.
  4. Wassim Abou-Kheir (Lebanon), Assistant Professor, Department of Anatomy, Cell Biology and Physiology, Faculty of Medicine, American University of Beirut.
  5. Adil Belhaj (Morocco), Researcher/Dr., Faculty of Poly-Disciplinary, Univeristy of Soulan Moulay Slimane, Beni Mellal.

TWAS-ARO welcome all the new young affiliates for 2013.
