TWAS Young Arab Scientists (YAS) Prize 2014
Knowing the importance of Science for the development of countries, the TWAS-ARO chose the theme of “Science and Innovation into Practice in the Arab World” for the Young Arab Scientist (YAS) Prize 2014.
The prize Will be awarded to a young Arab scientist who contributed to the development of the Arab world with an innovative scientific research.
The value of the prize is 3,000 USD.
Eligibility:
Applicants must :
1. Be Natives of an Arab country.
2. Be Living and working in an Arab country.
3. Hold a PhD.
4. Have a proven track record in his/her field.
5. Be under 40 years old by 1 January 2014.
Nominations will Only be Accepted from:
2. Science academies, national research councils, universities and scientific institutions from the Arab region.
N.B: Self-nominations are not valid.
