Biography:

Ridha Horchani is presently an Associate Professor of Physics at Sultan Qaboos University in Oman. He obtained his MSc from Paris Saclay University in Paris, France, in 2008, and completed his PhD in Physics at Paris Saclay University in 2011 under the supervision of Prof. Daniel Comparat. During his phd, he played a pioneering role in advancing the optical pumping technique to achieve vibrational and rotational cooling of cesium molecules. Following his doctoral studies, Ridha Horchani served as a postdoctoral researcher at Aarhus University (Denmark) for several years. His current research focus centers on molecular modeling and molecular spectroscopy, reflecting his dedication to advancing the understanding of molecular structures and behaviors.
