Dr. Venice Kamel Gouda

Biography:
Dr. Venice Kamel Gouda is a Research Professor at the National Research Center. She received her B.Sc. from Ain Shams University in 1956, M.Sc. in 1959 & Ph.D. in 1962 from Cairo University and D.Sc. from Ain Shams University in 1994.
She held the post of the Egyptian Minister of State for Scientific research MSOR (October 1993-July1997). She had officially represented Egypt as head of several official delegations including Germany, USA, Pakistan, Romania in 1994 & Switzerland, Germany in 1997.she has received many international & national awards & honors. She was Invited to deliver scientific lecturers and chairing scientific sessions in several universities and research centers in USA, England, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Canada, Pakistan, and Kuwait and to deliver general lectures to the national organizations affiliated to the United Nation.
She designed and lectured advanced training courses in the area of Corrosion, Corrosion Control and electroplating.
She has many researches & experience in the field of corrosion, corrosion inhibition, and corrosion monitoring. Have special interest and experience in corrosion of steel in concrete, stress corrosion cracking, corrosion fatigue, erosion-corrosion and diagnosis of engineering failure. she is an Author of Two patents & a book. Supervised several M.Sc theses & PhD theses in corrosion and applied inorganic chemistry. She also Worked as a scientific consultant for many industrial institutions.
She has been the organizer and the Chair of Several National Conferences dealing with important issues for Egypt .
