Today's meeting began with Mr. Ahmed Refaat and Ibrahim Gamal Eldin presenting about our programs: YESBU and LYM. Mr. Ahmed began with an explanation of the online distance-Learning program of Lund University in Sweden (www.iiiee-ymp.org) and how to apply for it. He also gave us an idea about previous Arab Environmental Youth Convention (AEYC) and Global Environmental Youth Convention (GEYC). Ibrahim then told us how to participate in the program and how to be effective. After that he told us about the YESBU website ( www.yesbu.org )
The second presentation of the day was by Naglaa Elkhawaga and Rehab Ibrahim. It was entitled “CORT” - cognitive research trust. It’s a human development program about thinking put by Edward De Bono. The program assumes that thinking is a skill that can be developed and learned.
Our last preentation by Mohamed Tarek and Mohamed Rezk was about “CORD” –Competition of Robot Design. It’s a competition that was held in several Egyptian Universities. They told us about CORD and previous achievments and robots made.
