Licensed in 2008, the Regional Network of Youth Associations (RNYA) in NKC City was formed by 9 local networks and 173 youth Associations. The financial and technical aid that it receives from the Mauritanian Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Sport, UNICEF, the United Nations Population Fund, and the International Bureau of Labor helps it target teenagers to promote and integrate them in an active lifestyle and strong decision making tactics. It utilizes meetings, events, lectures, and open shows to achieve its goals, and has a particular emphasis on projects such as AIDS prevention, migration, good governance, citizenship, and advocacy.
