The objective of this one day workshop, organized jointly by the Arab Reform Forum and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina on 13 August 2007, was to discuss the future of Alexandria. The focus was on discussing future urban development projects and their impact on the city, as well as the role of Alex Med and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in the conservation of the tangible architectural heritage of the city.

The participants at the forum included architects, university professors, the media and government representatives. In parallel to the workshop, an exhibition displaying the future development projects of Alexandria and Alex Med’s work in the field was also held.
