On 20 February 2005 one of the world’s leading tenors, Vincenzo La Scola, gave a performance at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina sponsored by the Italian Trust Fund for Culture and Sustainable Development, the World Bank, Banco di Napoli, Consorzio Venezia Nuova and Societa Interbancaria per l’Automazione.
