Alex Med organized the 8th annual memorial ceremony for the passing of the Lebanese poet, Jawdat R. Haydar in cooperation with the Jawdat Haidar Friends Association. Haydar was a member of the Union of Lebanese Writers and the founder and President of Wahat al Adab (Oasis of Literature), a society of poets that strove to revive Lebanese poetry and enhance collaboration among the poets of the Bekaa valley.
