This seminar was held within the framework of World Heritage Day to explain the process of saving the Abu Simbel Temples and to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the event. The seminar explained the process of moving the temples to salvage them and also included an introduction to the Abu Simbel 50 Initiative. The seminar was delivered by Hamdy al-Sotouhy, Founder of the Initiative and designer of the Abu Simbel Museum.
