The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is organizing the third edition of the International Conference on Information Literacy - Africa 2024 "ICIL Africa", which is being held for the first time in Egypt and North Africa under the slogan "Information Literacy Revolution... Get ready!", in collaboration with North-West University (NWU), the University of Pretoria, the Association of African Universities - North Africa Regional Office (AAU – NARO), and the African Library and Information Associations and Institutions (AFLIA), from 14 to 17 October at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Center. The conference aims to bring together researchers, library and information service providers, media professionals, educators and policymakers from around the world to share knowledge and experiences and discuss recent developments and current challenges in the field of information literacy.
