Christian is a strategic advisor to companies, VC funds, European and national government agencies in the biotechnology sector. He served as Secretary General of Europe’s largest biotechnology association and maintains an extensive network of close contacts with senior life science investors, industry executives and policy makers across Europe and internationally. As a Member of the Executive Board and Executive Director of Business Development, Christian was instrumental in growing a start up into the leading pan-European provider of investment and partnering initiatives for VCs and entrepreneurial tech and biotech companies, launching major European initiatives for VC investment into biotechnology, and later industrial biotechnology. Christian is the Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of the Tech Transfer Summit Initiative, and serves on several association boards and steering committees for biotechnology, innovation, and access to finance, and is on the Editorial Board of New Biotechnology (Elsevier).
