The Water Frontier: Solutions in Science.
Acute Water scarcity can be avoided only through change - in agricultural, social, urban and economic activities. These will draw from a broad range of scientific disciplines: demography and population science; architecture and construction; industrial processes; agricultural techniques and new agricultural discoveries. Among the most exciting opportunities relate to water reuse and wastewater: harvesting energy and increasing agricultural harvests.
