Biography |

Guillaume Acloque has been working as the scientific cooperation attaché of the French Embassy in Cairo since January 2012.
In 2003 and 2004, he obtained two Master degrees from the Institute of Political Sciences of Paris (Sciences po), both in urban planning and in political sciences. He conducted research activities in Cairo in 2004/2005 for the CEDEJ (the French Centre for economic, legal and social studies located in Cairo) in the realm of urban development.
Then he went on working in the private sector in many urban planning and development projects, either for French or for Arabic countries local authorities.
He went back to Egypt in 2012, and is now in charge of the scientific cooperation programs proposed by the French Institute of Egypt (Institut Français d’Egypte – IFE), such as the IMHOTEP program (in cooperation with the Egyptian Academy for Scientific Research and Technology) or the scientific short stay fellowships program in France.
