Within the framework of the Health Education Club; the Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP) of the Academic Research Sector at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) in cooperation with the Endocrinology Unit of the Department of the Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University organized a lecture entitled "Get to Know More About the Thyroid Gland" on Thursday, 13th of February 2025, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm (Cairo time) at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Center, Lecture Hall.
This lecture aimed to raise awareness about the thyroid gland, its vital role in the human body and the disorders that can affect its function. It also covered the latest developments in research and trends in this regard.
The lecture discussed:
- Raising public awareness about the thyroid gland and its role in the human body
- Thyroid disorders: causes, symptoms, and treatment
- Latest research and trends in this regard

في إطار نادي التوعية الصحية؛ نظم مركز الدراسات والبرامج الخاصة (CSSP) بقطاع البحث الأكاديمي بمكتبة الإسكندرية (BA) بالتعاون مع وحدة الغدد الصماء بقسم الأمراض الباطنة بكلية الطب جامعة الإسكندرية محاضرة بعنوان " أعرف أكثر عن الغدة الدرقية"، التي عقدت يوم الخميس الموافق 13 فبراير 2025، من الساعة 12 ظهرًا حتى الساعة 2 ظهرًا (بتوقيت القاهرة)، بمكتبة الإسكندرية، مركز المؤتمرات، قاعة المحاضرات.
هدف هذه المحاضرة إلى رفع الوعي حول الغدة الدرقية ودورها الحيوي في جسم الإنسان والاضطرابات التي يمكن أن تؤثر على وظيفتها. كما تناولت أحدث التطورات في الأبحاث والاتجاهات في هذا الصدد.
