STATUS OF
PREPARATIONS / DEADLINES / POSTERS. PAPERS & ABSTRACTS
The
program committee and the organizers of the conference are pleased to
inform you that plans are advancing well for the implementation of a
successful conference. While
the final program is almost fully developed, we still encourage you to
submit an abstract and a poster for the conference. Immediately
in advance, and immediately after the conference, a range of visits and
tours can be arranged. As a
formal part of the program there will be a visit to the Agricultural
Genetic Engineering Research Institute (AGERI) in Cairo.
This institute provides well equipped and staffed laboratories,
growth chambers and bio-containment greenhouse facilities for studies on
the strategic biotechnology agenda of Egypt.
Participants will then be transported by bus from Cairo to
Alexandria, the site of the conference.
