Al-Manfaluti and Rostand at the BA Majlis Al-Tahtawi

Majlis Al-Tahtawi at the BA, in coordination with the Cultural Outreach Sector, hosts an event entitled “The Poetic Integration between Moustafa Loutfy Al-Manfaluti and French Writer Edmond Rostand: The Poet as an Example.” It is held on Wednesday, 12 December 2018, at 5:00 pm.
Participants at the event include Dr. Hoda Abaza, Professor of French Literature at the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, Dr. Nermine Shouhaib, Professor at the French Department, Faculty of Education, Alexandria University and Dr. Mohamed Elsayed Abdel Tawwab, Associate Professor of Modern Arabic Literature at Nahda University. The event sheds light on the Arabization movement in Arabic literature witnessed by Egypt in the twenties, which Al-Manfaluti was one of its prominent figures.
