The BA Children’s Library is organizing its 2015 summer program, which will include several educational, cultural, and entertaining activities for 6–11 year old children. The program aims to develop children’s reading and research skills and encourage them to be creative.
Among these activities is the Children’s Library Carnival. It will include several events that aim to encourage and teach children how to recycle materials; raise their awareness of the environment, teach them about biodiversity, and preserving water resources; and acquaint them with the most important Alexandrian antiquities. The Children’s Library cooperates with several child-oriented BA institutions, such as the Antiquities Museum, Taha Hussein Library, the Manuscripts Museum, and the Center for Francophone Activities to offer several lectures for children and parents.
