Letters and Words Dialogue Exhibition

Alexandria— Under the auspice of Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the Calligraphy Center, an affiliate to the BA, is organizing its sixth exhibition “Letters and Words Dialogue”, in collaboration with Mohammed Ibrahim School and Association for Arabic Calligraphy in Alexandria, from 18-25 June 2006.
In order to revive the artistic taste of the Arabic calligraphy by its appreciators and artists, the exhibition brings together 30 famous calligraphy writers from Egypt and the Arab world among which are Youssef Zannoun (Iraq), Ahmed El Moufti (Syria), Mohamed Rotail (Egypt), and Asran Maneisy (Egypt).
The exhibition will be inaugurated by Dr. Yehia Halim Zaki, Head of Academic and Cultural Sector at the BA.
The exhibition takes place at the Eastern Exhibition Hall, BACC.
