Lecture: Impacts of Petroleum Industry on the Environment

Alexandria — the Youth for Sustainable Development and Better Understanding Program organized by the Center for Special Studies and Programs is holding a series of lectures on education, environment, and population growth. In this context, the CSSP is organizing on Tuesday, 8 August 2006, a lecture entitled the Impact of the Petroleum Industry on Environment by Dr. Salah Soliman, Professor of Pesticide Chemistry and Toxicology, Faculty of Agriculture, Alexandria University. During the lecture, Dr. Salah will explain the impact of petroleum industry on environment, and necessary measures to protect the environment against the hazards of this kind of industry.
The lecture will start at 17:00 hrs in the second floor meeting hall, BA Conference Center and is open to the public.
