The Syrian Prime Minister Visits the BA

Alexandria— the BA received Mr. Mohammad Naji Al-Otari, the Syrian Prime Minister and his accompanying delegation last Friday, 15 December 2006. The visit is part of the Egyptian Syrian cooperation on exchange of expertise in culture, science and digital technology.
Dr. Yehia Halim Zaki, Head of the Academic and Cultural Sector, accompanied the delegation on a tour of the Library, its affiliated exhibitions and museums, and different services offered by the BA to members and visitors. The tour included the Manuscripts Museum, the Digital Lab, the Internet Archive, VISTA, the Planetarium Science Center, and the Alexploratorium.
