Museum Education at the BA

Alexandria—the BA Antiquities Museum is organizing during the mid year vacation an educational program on museum education for youth and children for three weeks as of Sunday, 28 January 2007. Mona Serry, Director of the BA Antiquities Museum stated that the program will comprise workshops on museum education using different materials:
1. Drawing using coal, pastel, acrylic, and wood
2. Drawing on papyrus, glass, and foam
3. Engraving on (Plaster and limestone.)
4. Sculpturing different kinds of clay.
5. Hammering (copper and aluminum).
The program will include lectures on archeology:
1. How to make papyrus (theoretically and practically)
2. The Great Alexander and the establishment of Alexandria
3. Art of mosaic in the Hellenistic period
